What can you see or do in the Maira valley? A few tips for your holidays with some bibliographic news and instructions about where to find out more (please check Link).

Chiesa di San Peyre For lovers of arts and culture there are several museums, churches to visit or you can admire the details of mountain architecture. Places worth visiting can be found anywhere in the valley.

Sci alpinismo Sports fans will find an actual paradise in the Maira valley with infinite attractions both in summer and in winter.
Just to mention a few possible activities, you can practice trekking, mountain bike riding, climbing, vie ferrate (Camoglieres and the ferrate of the Oronaye, in safety since 2010). Winter, too offers a lot of possibilities such as a cross-country skiing track, a small but well-tended installation of alpine skiing, in Canosio, uncountable snow-shoeing tours, frozen waterfalls. .
A special mention must have ski mountaineering, whereas the Maira valley is considered by many fans to be one of the best areas in the whole alpine territory.
